Family Baseball Night with the Richmond Flying Squirrels

RICHMOND, Va. (August 2, 2019) – The Balzer team had an excellent time at our annual Richmond Flying Squirrels family baseball night, despite the presence of high winds and ominous clouds.  Employees from across Virginia were in attendance and a couple were even chosen to “make a sandwich” for the between-innings entertainment.  With two people dressed as sandwich bread, one lay on the ground while the other performed a shuttle run to gather “ingredients”.  The final act to win the race was for the second slice of bread to jump on their teammate to create the sandwich!  It was a great time and we’re already looking forward to next year.
