Riverside Heights is a 59 unit townhome project in the City of Richmond. Balzer and Associates, Inc. worked closely with the developer and homebuilder to provide a detailed pad ready design, meeting their product specifications. This site was particularly challenging due to the severe ground slopes and offsite stream that became integrated into the stormwater design. Through the use of the latest Civil 3D software, Balzer and Associates, Inc. modeled 2 large retaining walls, public and private road sections, off-street parking, basement units, and a stormwater detention facility, to accurately produce balanced earthworks and minimal utility conflicts.
