Residential real estate broker Liz Moore & Associates entered the Richmond market in 2016. In the years following, the firm doubled their agent count and was in need of additional office space. Balzer and Associates create the design for a permanent location to support the firm’s Richmond area operations.

Liz Moore & Associates is a single-story, wood frame, craftsman-style office building with conference rooms, training room, waiting area, and kitchenette. The building features exterior columns, fiber cement siding and stone veneer, concrete porches, metal awnings, and a rooftop balcony. A defining feature of the project is high ceilings over the lobby space with clerestory windows above. The waiting area and training room can be combined into a large space or cordoned off with large glass sliding doors. The interior features stone countertops, stone backsplashes, and a comfortable waiting area with Wi-Fi, coffee, and a stone fireplace.

For the 12,800 SF project, Balzer and Associates services included: architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, landscape architecture, environmental, and survey.
