Giles at Hanover – Clubhouse

Balzer and Associates provided architecture, civil engineering, structural engineering, surveying, and landscape architecture services for the community clubhouse and pool equipment buildings for the Giles at Hanover subdivision.

Our team worked from initial designs from Portico Classic Homes to take the project from conceptual to completed. The project covers approximately 3,600 square feet between the two buildings. The clubhouse includes nearly 1,000 square feet of porches overlooking a beautiful, wooded backdrop with the main event being the 15,000 square foot pool and deck.

The main area of the clubhouse has a spacious floor plan, custom finishes and consists of 26-foot-high vaulted ceilings highlighted by 6 dormers allowing natural light to flow into the space. Other features include: a gas fireplace and a full kitchen with granite countertops that leads into a cozy lounge.

In the equipment building are the pool bathrooms, outdoor showers, two storage rooms and an equipment room.
