Balzer Project on Barnwood Builders Episode

(May 3, 2022) –  Balzer & Associates is proud to share that one of our projects has been featured on the show Barnwood Builders on the Magnolia network. Our staff provided structural engineering services for Stone Manor on Lake Haven. The luxury bed & breakfast venue is in Lewisburg, West Virginia. The new event facility was planned to incorporate the installation of a historic barn structure to be constructed inside. The existing barn structure was approximately 60 feet by 83 feet, over 100 years old, and made of hand-hewn timbers. The new structure captured that historic square footage and then added an exterior covered patio, bathroom, kitchen, and storage utility space around the perimeter. Once open, the venue is expected to accommodate up to 300 people.
