My job is rewarding because it is a unique mix of physical and intellectual challenges. I find the idea of following in the footsteps of prior surveyors really appealing. Knowing that I may be recovering property corners of monuments that may not have been seen or disturbed in 60 to 100 years, is very rewarding.
