vening I had the honor and privilege of attending the 40th Anniversary celebration of Landscapes Unlimited, Inc., a Lincoln, Nebraska based golf course construction, development, and management company.
The company was founded in 1976 by an amazing man, Bill Kubly, who has become a good friend through our mutual involvement in Ballyhack, a national destination golf retreat in Roanoke, Virginia. Bill founded his company on the principles of hard work, and fair and honest service to his customers/clients. He then set about surrounding himself with great people and the rest is a 40 year history of success in a very challenging industry. And of course, he was smart enough to marry Myrna, who has stood beside him through good and bad times.
Working with Landscapes over the past few years has given us an opportunity to meet some of the people that make it such a strong company. During the home and away football series between Virginia Tech and Nebraska we even had a chance to experience firsthand their wonderful hospitality as we traveled to Lincoln and witnessed the incredible Cornhusker fan friendliness. To our many friends at Landscapes Unlimited, we offer congratulations. Here’s to the beginning of your next 40 years!
