Taylor Promoted to Department Head

(August 24, 2022) – Balzer and Associates is pleased to announce that James Taylor, PE is the new Engineering Department Head in our New River Valley office. James began his career with the company as a summer intern in the Richmond office and then started full time in the NRV office in 2011.

“I’m honored to have the chance to serve in this new role and build upon the legacy of service to our clients that Steve Semones and our team have established over the last 20 years here in the New River Valley,” said Taylor. “Balzer and Associates is very much a family and I’m extremely proud of the work we have done in this community that I call home.  I’m eager to get to work helping even more of our clients and neighbors achieve success.”

When Steve Semones, the New River Valley office’s Regional Director, was asked about James, he said, “From the time he started, James strived to not only be an exceptional engineer, but an exceptional consultant.
