Balzer Fund 2022 Donations

(July 12, 2022) – Balzer and Associates strongly believes supporting the communities where we work and live is an important part of what we do as an organization. We are dedicated to creating lasting effects not only with our work but also with our actions outside of the office.

One of the ways we achieve this impact is through the Balzer Fund. The Balzer Fund allows us to support charitable organizations that focus on educational success and community development in our local region. The donations for this year went to:

• FRIENDS Association for Children: A child and family agency that has served the Central Virginia community for over 150 years.
• Greater Augusta Regional Chamber of Commerce Foundation: The Academic Achievers program provides monetary assistance to students as they enter their career development journey.
• Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Roanoke Chapter: An organization dedicated to building, assembling, and delivering bunk beds to children and families in need.
• New River Community Action: Serving vulnerable residents and struggling families with a variety of programs to address food, shelter, early childhood, and employment.

These organizations all work to create stronger communities and we are proud to have been able to support their missions with our donations.
