Andy Scherzer Inducted into HBAR Hall Of Fame

(January 18, 2022) – Balzer and Associates is proud to share that in December, Andy Scherzer received the Home Building Association of Richmond’s (HBAR) most prestigious award, the C. Richard Napier Hall of Fame Award. The award honors individuals who have made an exceptional contribution that is a significant and lasting difference in the Home Building Association of Richmond and building community. This award is given only once every three years which only emphasizes the impact that Andy has made upon our community.

For 33 years, Andy Scherzer has been an important part of Balzer and Associate’s Richmond presence. His expertise has been vital on many of our projects providing site planning, engineering design, architectural design for clients whose projects span shopping centers, commercial properties, residential developments, and office developments. The impact of his work efforts can be seen around the community in the many properties his work has touched.

In addition to being a critical play at work, Andy has been deeply involved in many community organizations over the years even beyond his involved with HBAR. These groups and organizations include:
