Lee Jones joins Young Professionals Board for the Better Housing Coalition
RICHMOND, VA. (March 06, 2020) – We would like to congratulate Lee Jones, a Landscape Architect in our Richmond office, on joining the Better Housing Coalition’s Young Professional Board! Lee spends much of his free time participating in community service projects and networking with other industry professionals. The Young Professionals Board’s mission statement includes advocacy and support of the Better Housing Coalition, which seeks to transform communities and provide high-quality, affordable housing in the Greater Richmond region.
Over the past several years, Lee has been a facilitator and a participant in many events for the Better Housing Coalition. These include the Gingerbread House Challenge, a fundraiser to bring awareness to the need for more affordable housing, and the back-to-school Backpack Drive, which provides school supplies and materials to low-income, K-12 students. He has been named the Chair of the Gingerbread House Challenge, an event which he has competed in for the last 3 years and won, among other awards, Judges 2nd Place in 2018 and Judges 1st Place in 2019!
We wish Lee the best of luck with his new opportunity and believe he is a quality leader for the next generation of young professionals.
