Varsity Park Storage and Office Complex Progressing in Roanoke, Virginia

ROANOKE, VA. (February 6, 2020) –  Balzer and Associates is excited to be working alongside Virginia Varsity Storage in the design and construction of Varsity Park, a new mixed-use development that includes a new Class-A storage facility and the renovation of the historic Graves Humphreys Hardware Company building.  Varsity Park is a two-phase project and is located at the intersection of Brandon Avenue SW and Franklin Road.

Phase 1 involves the construction of a new three-story, 90,000 square foot, mixed-use building. This new facility will include over 500 storage units, a business center, offices, meeting rooms, and commercial tenant space.

Phase 2 will include the redevelopment of the existing three-story, 71,500 square foot Graves Humphreys building. The renovated building will be home to new commercial tenant spaces, customizable studio offices, and a “Field House” multi-purpose event space complete with kitchenette, board table, and club seating.
